About this policy
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by ElitePhoneHub. The website is operated by Arash Malekzad, based in the Netherlands. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed and the rights available to you.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage can also store or access information in your browser. Session cookies normally end with a browser session; other storage remains until its expiry, a cleanup check or deletion. Restoring a browser session can preserve some session information.
Manage your choices
We use WPConsent to present and remember cookie preferences. You can accept or reject optional cookies and revisit your choices using the button below or the website’s Cookie Preferences control.
Opening the panel does not give consent. Select and save your choices in the panel. Optional tracking requires the relevant consent before it is used. Continuing to browse, scroll or swipe does not give that consent.
You can refuse optional tracking and still use our guides, choice helper, searches and offer links. Some embedded content remains unavailable until you allow the relevant service. Where individual service controls are available, you can choose those services separately; otherwise the category shown in WPConsent applies.
You can withdraw consent at any time through the same preferences panel. Changing a choice may reload the page so that the affected content is blocked again. Withdrawal does not undo earlier processing or automatically erase information already received by an external provider. Our Privacy Policy explains how to request deletion or exercise other data-protection rights.
Necessary and requested functionality
Necessary storage supports functions such as remembering privacy choices, protecting the website and maintaining login or comment functions where those functions are used. Hostinger provides hosting, Cloudflare supports website delivery and security, and WPConsent handles cookie preferences. A service being present does not mean that every cookie it offers is used on every visit.
Some functional storage is used only when you request a feature. If you choose to keep an eBay offer while installing the eBay app, the comparison plugin stores the selected listing information in this browser tab so you can return to it.
| Name and type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
eph-app-offer-v1Session storage |
Keeps the listing ID, title, link and page context for the install-and-return feature you request. | The feature treats the record as expired after one hour. It removes the record when its expiry check runs or you dismiss it. Your browser can also clear it when the tab session ends. A suspended or restored tab may preserve it until a cleanup check runs. |
This feature does not reserve the item, install the app for you or establish that the price is still current. It is separate from optional audience measurement.
Google Analytics and choice-helper measurement
We use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand visits and interactions. With the relevant Analytics consent, measurement can include pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, choice-helper use, selected models, result states, delivery-country selections and clicks to eBay offers.
Optional Analytics cookies are used with your consent. You can refuse or change your choice through WPConsent. A consent-mode signal, a scanner entry or a service being listed in the preferences panel does not by itself prove that Analytics cookies have been placed.
Cookie expiry is different from the retention of information already collected by Analytics. See the retention section of our Privacy Policy for our configured data-retention periods. Those settings do not determine the expiry date of a cookie in your browser.
YouTube videos and thumbnails
We display Apple’s official iPhone playlist and short videos from Apple’s YouTube channel through Captain Feed for YouTube. The short-video feed appears on the homepage and video page and can include Shorts and other short videos about iPhone, iPad, Mac and accessories.
Thumbnails, channel images and video players can be supplied by Google/YouTube. Loading an external image sends technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to that service. Activating a player can involve additional requests, playback information, cookies or similar storage.
WPConsent provides the relevant optional cookie and external-content choices. Tracking or browser storage that requires consent must wait for that consent. Blocking a video player does not necessarily block thumbnails: an external thumbnail can connect to Google/YouTube before a video is played.
Privacy-enhanced playback, where configured, does not mean that no technical data is processed. If you are signed in to Google, the service may associate activity with your account under its own settings and notices. Displayed view counts refer to YouTube, not the number of visitors watching on ElitePhoneHub.
You can use our guides and offer tools without playing a video. You can also open Apple’s YouTube channel directly, where YouTube’s own notices and settings apply. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s embedding information for more information.
Optional AI chat and browser history
The optional chat uses AI Engine by Meow Apps and Google’s Gemini API. Messages and relevant conversation context are processed to generate an answer. Any identifiers or storage used by the chat are separate from our Analytics and app-return features.
If you enable “Remember this chat list”, the additional chat-history panel saves copies of messages and chat titles in this browser’s local storage. Without that option, this additional list is kept in page memory rather than saved by the history feature.
| Name and type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
eph.ai.chat-history.v1.defaultLocal storage |
Remembers up to 20 conversations in this browser when you enable the remember option. It is not a cross-device account history. | Each record expires 30 days after its latest update and is removed when the history’s expiry check runs. You can clear the list or turn remembering off sooner. Closing the browser does not necessarily delete local storage. |
Use “Clear chat list” to remove the list, or turn remembering off to remove its saved browser copy. Clearing the list does not close or erase the current conversation. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read a remembered list.
These controls do not delete messages already sent to Google or discussions stored by AI Engine on our website. The website’s configured Discussions retention is 90 days, applied through the plugin’s cleanup process; that is separate from browser storage. See the AI-chat and retention sections of our Privacy Policy for more information.
You can use our ordinary guides and offer tools without the chat. Do not submit passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal information.
eBay affiliate links and app stores
Our eBay links contain referral information for the eBay Partner Network. A referral parameter in a link is not itself a cookie. After you follow a link, eBay may use cookies or similar technologies under its own notices. Your ElitePhoneHub preferences do not automatically set your preferences on eBay.
App Store and Google Play links take you to those services. Installing an app is optional and is governed by the store’s and app provider’s terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure for information about commissions.
Meta Pixel and future advertising
Meta/Facebook Pixel is currently disabled on ElitePhoneHub. We may introduce optional advertising measurement or remarketing later. Before enabling tracking for that purpose, we will update the service information and obtain the required consent.
Information about a service retained in WPConsent for possible future use does not mean that the service is running. If Meta Pixel is reintroduced, its purpose, relevant cookies and durations must be reflected in the preference controls and service list.
Browser settings and deletion
You can delete or block cookies and website storage through your browser. Deleting saved consent can make the banner appear again. Blocking functional storage can affect features such as returning to a selected offer or remembering a chat list.
Browser settings, WPConsent choices and controls on external services serve different purposes. Changing one does not necessarily change the others or erase information already collected. Use the relevant provider’s account and privacy controls for information held by that provider.
Questions and updates
